Who Are We? Meet Our Team

Jackson Hill and Mark Hoffman are the founders of The Tree Trove, and they are passionate about trees and the environment. Both Jackson and Mark grew up in Michigan, where they spent a lot of time exploring the outdoors and learning about the natural world.

As he got older, Jackson’s interest in trees grew, and he began studying arboriculture and horticulture at Michigan State University. He eventually went on to earn a degree in forestry from the University of Michigan, and he has been working in the field ever since.

Mark’s interest in trees was sparked by a family vacation to Yosemite National Park when he was a teenager. He was struck by the beauty and majesty of the giant sequoias, and he knew right away that he wanted to learn more about trees. Mark studied forestry at Michigan Technological University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. He has worked as an arborist and tree care specialist for over a decade.

Together, Jackson and Mark bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to The Tree Trove.
